Best of Nepal A - 7 nights 8 days (3 Nights in Kathmandu/2 Night in Royal Chitwan National Park /2 Nights in Pokhara) Day 1 - Arrive Kathmandu. Meet and transfer to your Hotel Day 2 - Breakfast at the hotel. Morning sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the palace of the Malla and then Shah Kings of Nepal. Places of interest are Kasthamandap, a medieval rest house said to give Kathmandu its name, Kumari Temple, abode of the virgin goddess. From here visit Swoyambhunath Stupa one of the most important center of Buddhist learning in Nepal Afternoon tour of Patan famous for its arts and crafts. Tour highlights are Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, a beautiful monastery and Mahaboudha. From here visit the Tibetan cultural center first founded by the Tibetan refugees of the late fifties and now an exhibition cum shopping complex of carpets, jewellery and many more interesting souvenirs. Day 3 - After an early breakfast drive to Royal Chitwan National Park. Afternoon arrive at Chitwan and experience elephant safari. Overnight at resort. Day 4 - Chitwan. Full day of jungle safari activiteis including boating, elephant ride and Jeep drive in the jungle. Day 5 - Drive to Pokhara, the lakeside resort offering fabulous Himalayan views. Arrive at Pokhara and check in your hotel. Day 6 - Early morning sunrise trip to Sarangkot. Half day sightseeing to Daiv's Fall, Gupteshow Cave & Bindebasini Temple. Overnight at hotel Day 7 - After breakfast at resort, return to Kathmandu overland. Lunch enroute. Arrive and check in at your hotel. Day 8 - Free until transfer to the airport .
