Kathmandu Stopover B 3 nights 4 days (2 nights in Kathmandu 1 night in Nagarkot) Day 1 - Arrive Kathmandu. Meet and transfer to your hotel. (D) Day 2 - Breakfast in the Hotel. Morning sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath, holiest temple for the Hindus, nearby along the banks of the river Bagmati is the cremation area for the dead. Boudhnath stupa, possibly the largest stupa in the world and a center for Tibetan school of Buddhism. Lunch at an appropriate restaurant. Afternoon tour of Patan famous for its arts and crafts. Tour highlights are Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, a beautiful monastery and Mahaboudha. From here visit the Tibetan cultural center first founded by the Tibetan refugees of the late fifties and now an exhibition cum shopping complex of carpets, jewellery and many more interesting souvenirs. Dinner and overnight at hotel (B, L, D). Day 3 - Breakfast in the hotel. Morning sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the palace of the Malla and then Shah Kings of Nepal. Places of interest are Kasthamandap, a medieval rest house said to give Kathmandu its name, Kumari Temple, abode of the virgin goddess. From here visit Swoyambhunath Stupa one of the most important center of Buddhist learning in Nepal. After lunch visit to Bhaktapur, city of devotees. Tour attractions are Palace with 55 windows, Golden Gate, Nyatapola 5 storied temple. Proceed to Nagarkot and check in to your hotel. Rest of the evening spend in the resort viewing the Himalayan sunset and relaxing. Diner and overnight in the Resort.(B, L, D) Day 4 - After an early morning sunrise view and breakfast in the resort, free until transfer to the Airport (B)
